Avril Lavigne to perform at 2010 Vancouver Olympic Ceremony!
atrl.net/forums, Feb. 18, 20101 - ET Canada just said their exclusive insiders revealed that Avril will be
performing at the closing ceremonies of the Vancouver Winter Olympics!
Yup, that's right! Rumors have swarmed the internet over the past few
weeks concerning which artists would perform at the opening and closing
ceremonies including Celine Dion and Shania Twain.
ET Canada has just confirmed that Avril will be performing! This comes
just about four years after she performed at the Closing Ceremony of the
Torino Olympics of 2006!

twm: Olympic Closing Ceremony scheduled to begin at 4:30 PM PT, Sunday February 28.
Apparently ET did not say what song Avril will likely perform.

Newsroom Solutions, arkansasmatters . com/content/new, Thursday, Feb 25, 2010 - The details of Sunday's closing ceremonies for the Vancouver 2010 Olympics are being kept top secret.
But Executive Producer David Atkins is hinting at what is to be expected.
He tells TorontoSun . com that the show will be a "celeb-fest" while declining to name the famous performers who will take part.
He says the closing ceremonies will be a "celebration of Canadian humor, talent and innovation," adding that it will be quite a contrast to what was seen on the opening night of the Olympics.
Expect famous Canadians, including rock bands, at Sunday night's closing ceremonies.
When Atkins produced the Closing Ceremonies at the Sydney 2000 Olympics, performers included high-profile Australian acts such as Men At Work, INXS, Kylie Minogue, Midnight Oil, and Olivia Newton-John.
NBC and KARK 4 will air the Closing Ceremonies for the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics at 7:30 p.m. this Sunday. | |

February 28, 2010 - NBC-TV, the network showing the Olympics in the US, last night aired a commercial featuring none other than Avril herself! It said
and confirms that she will be performing at the closing ceremonies as
well as Nickelback and Neil Young.
